Yes. The Opthamization of your consent into audio and other languages is a one-time event. We value your time. We appreciate the difficulty of practicing medicine. It will be available to your patients from our secure servers for 5 years, guaranteed, in return for your one-time payment.
A full refund is available on request for up to 30 days. However, your qr code and audio file will cease to work if you take a refund. You may keep the original pdf of our attempt to translate your document regardless of refund. Feedback will be appreciated but not required.
No. You as a provider pay us a one-time fee. You and your patients, clients, or customers may listen as often as you like.
Yes.
Yes, but the file size is small, so even low bandwidth or weak cellular signal will do.
Yes. You can use any document up to 10 pages (10 pages will take about 20 minutes to read).
Yes. Any document you wish to have regularly read aloud will work.
We do not recommend it. Our money-back guarantee does apply, so you may try. Best results will come from an original pdf or word-processor document in odt, uot, or docx format.
Yes, but you must compile them yourself before upload. Also, the audio file will read all the documents back to back. If these papers were presented in a different order, the reading will not match. For best patient experience, we recommend treating separate documents as separate jobs for Opthamize. Each one will have a unique QR code linking to a reading of that document.
No. You are fully responsible for the content of any document you Opthamize. If you discover a mistake and want to correct your Opthamize recording, you must pay for the service again.
We would treat this a new job. Please pay the non-recurring, low fee for the service again.
Yes. This will double your low cost, but we can do it. Each consent must be Opthamized seperately. You are responsible for properly labeling the side. We can provide a large QR code with YOUR label of left or right.
Opthamize does not allow nor does it support the use of patient names or identifying Protected Health Information (PHI) in the documents you upload. Your consent forms MUST be uploaded free of PHI, i.e. your original blank form. If you follow this rule, your Opthamized consent will be fully compliant with HIPAA. For better privacy and common courtesy, you can encourage and recommend that all patients use headphones in your office.
Your result email will include a url (a website address) to your audio files and QRC uniquely linked to that recording. You may provide a link anywhere on your site or social media profiles. There is no limit on usage.
No. A one-time low fee for 5 years of online storage of your reading and 2 translations of your document is already the lowest price we can offer.
The original written document you upload will not be published on the web. We will not store it after the conversion process. There are audio search engines that may be able to find the audio file if you include your practice name in the Opthamized text. Otherwise, the audiofile will be hosted at a convoluted web address that is unlikely, thought not impossible, to be found in standard web searches.
Opthamize was founded by practicing physician in New York. He is frustrated by the slow pace of adoption of new technology in medicine and medical records. Opthamize is the first of many affordable tools for doctors and nurses you can expect from him and his company, Anescribe, LLC.
